Assists participants in finding suitable career choices by evaluating skills, interests, preferences, and personality traits.  Community Employment Program Specialist evaluates the responses to assist participants in improving skills such as time management, understanding public transportation, and communication skills.

Job Matching, Placement, and Coaching

Empowering individuals for community employment. Our tailored services cover skill development in job seeking, related skills, work performance, on-the-job social skills, and financial literacy. Benefit include job matching, placement, and coaching.

Pre-Employment Transition Services (Pre-ETS)

Pre-Employment Transition Services (PETS) provides students with disabilities with Self-Advocacy Instruction, Counseling on Post Secondary Options, Job Exploration Counseling, Work Based Learning and Work Readiness Training. Our Community Employment Program Specialists work collaboratively with the Office of Vocational Rehabilitation, and the schools to help students prepare for their future in the world of work.

Summer Jobs Program

The “Summer Jobs Program” provides area youth ages 16 -21 with work readiness training and a 180 hour paid work experience over the summer.  Youth have an opportunity to match their occupational skills with their interests in a real on the job work experience with employers throughout Venango County.
