VTDC
provides trainees with Work Activities, Vocational Training in a real work
setting, through janitorial subcontract work at local businesses.
WAC Instructors teach trainees skills in a competitive employment
environment, while earning minimum wage.
Much like the Sheltered Workshop/Work Activities
Programs, each trainee has a WAC Instructor and Program Specialist assigned to
help them develop and work on their vocational goals.
The Training
Center has contracts for these training crews throughout Venango County.
The Center also provides Mobile Work Force Training to individuals in the
DuBois area.
